For a couple years now, I have wanted to start a blog. The sad part is that the reason it has taken me so long is because I couldn't think of a good title. I don't really love this title, so I'm sure it will change. What I realized is that it doesn't really matter what my blog is called because the fact is that I want to make a blog to remember important parts of mine and my family's life.
In two weeks from tomorrow I am getting sealed for eternity to my best friend and love of my life. There are so many things I would like to write about, but I don't want it to get to extensive and boring (hopefully). As my fiance and I have been preparing to get married everything has seemed to fall in place almost perfectly. Except for our reception.
I work at an elementary school and my co-workers were asking me if I had everything ready for the wedding and I told them "yes, well mostly, all but the reception" they all started laughing because that is one of the biggest parts of planning a wedding. We are having our reception at Cody's aunt and uncles house. Then about a week and a half ago, right before we were going to send our invites out, they started worrying that there wouldn't be enough room for everyone at their house so we had to find a church to hold it in. I started gently pulling stamps off of ready to go envelopes and putting them on blank ones. Then, before making any final decisions of working for our insert, they decided that if the weather was good, we could do it at their house. So we created an inclimate weather notice to slip in with our invites.
We are really happy with how our invites turned out. A huge thanks to my amazing cousin Kaitlyn for taking our pictures, and my beautiful sister Kylee for putting the invites together for us. :)

So our invites are all out and in the right hands hopefully and the final decision about where it will be will be made a few days before and it will all work out great right? Well, just one small detail, the address on our invites is slightly wrong, so instead of going to Aunty Robins house, you would end up at an old folks home. So to fix this one, my mother and sister (Kylee) put together another cute little thing :)
So... Anyway, there are actually many more small little bumps and details, but honestly it just makes me smile and laugh. We have been so blessed with everything that has happened in the last few months. We have a place to live this summer and next school year, I have an internship (a meager income, but it will get us by), Cody is making wonderful connections with the big four accounting firms and they love him, and most of all, we are getting married in the temple of The Lord. I can't wait to start a family with the love of my life. Cody is the perfect man for me and I couldn't ask for anything better. I have amazing friends and family who love and support me/us. These funny things in life always end up turing out just fine and help me realize what is most important to me.
